Product Specification

Aluminium

Aluminium profiles are extruded from alloy 6063 T6 complying with the recommendations of BSEN755. We offer thermally broken and non - thermally broken aluminium systems. Our aluminium profiles are square cut, mechanically jointed and secured using stainless steel screws driven into extruded screw spines. All joints are sealed against water penetration.

Glass & glazing

We offer single / double glazed, tinted / non-tinted glass with a thickness ranging from 6.4mm to 12.8mm. All our glazing is carried out in strict accordance with BS6262 and BS6206 with particular attention being taken to risk areas that require safety and toughened glass.

Automatic Doors

We use concealed extruded aluminium mechanical jointing cleats and midrail brackets to ensure further rigidity.

The frame head profile is connected to the frame jamb profile using machine screws and galvanised brackets. The threshold is secured to the jamb frame members using self-tapping screws into screw ports which are an integral feature of the profile.

Anti finger trap stiles are standard in our entire range of pivot hung doors. Face applied and emergency exit devices, electric strikes, keypads and alternative locks are also available.

Installation & Fixing

All our framework is fixed through the glazing pocket into securely located plugs in the surrounding structure. Where possible continuous back plates are included in perimeter framework to help eliminate frame distortion and provide a firm fixing and bedding platform. All fixing screws are stainless steel or BZP plated finish.
