The ASR 650 is a compact, robust and reliable automatic satellite suitable for motorhomes and caravans. Due to its minimal weight (10.5kg), it is ideal for any customer concerned about excess weight on their van. Due to its smaller size, it lends itself to smaller vans and those who are limited on roof space. The satellite has a bigger dish than a dome enabling  it to work further afield. Another advantage over a dome, is the Mecatronic system being lower profile. The ASR 650 DF is one of Mecatronic’s middle of the range satellites priced the same as the ASR 680, however, they are not the same. The ASR 650 features the wishbone antenna design where two separate antenna arms that join together at the top as appose to one single solid arm. This makes the overall satellite both flatter and lighter.

This satellite comes fitted with twin LNB as standard, allowing you to receive two different channels simultaneously, meaning you can be watching different channels on two separate televisions or satellite receivers with a watch and record function.
