Satellite TV at the touch of a button
Maxview have based all of their elevating roof-mounted dishes on the same design. The Maxview crank up, Target and Seeker systems all look very much the same when mounted to the roof of your motorhome or caravan.
The roof-mounted dish.
The dish itself has a few nice features, its compact design has a parked height of just 170mm, only 70mm taller than an average Heki roof light.
All of the inner workings are located inside the base unit, protected by a one-piece plastic moulding, which is ideal when it comes to keeping the elements out. Even when the dish rotates the whole unit, from the base upwards, turns together. Supporting the dish from the rear is a one-piece cast alloy elevating arm. This arm connects to the gearbox and motors via two pinch bolts at the base of the arm.

The Seeker is also fitted with a twin LNB (low noise block) as standard, this means two separate satellite receivers can be connected to the same dish but can be used independently. Alternatively, both feeds can be fitted to a satellite receiver with a record function where the inputs can be used to watch one channel while recording another.
This easy to use system can be up and running quickly after parking your vehicle up. A simple tap of a button to set the satellite searching and the system will do the rest.
Additionally, the satellite features an ignition collapse down facility, if the vehicle is started and the dish is still in the upright position, the dish will relocate itself in the park position.
The Maxview seeker is one of the few products with a supporting website. Once registered, Maxview will keep you up to date regarding software releases. With some fairly simple instructions, the software can be downloaded on to a USB pen and transferred to the satellite easily.
